You should just set
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~(E_NOTICE | E_USER_NOTICE) in php.ini file and your calendar will work fine.

Thanks for the information. I'm renting hosting space and can't find the PHP.ini so I've sent a message to my hosting company to apply.
