us vs db calendar js

When I change to use the db calendar script versus the us calendar script, the calendar icon is replaced by the text "Open Calendar". Does anybody know why this happen?

I compared the two file and the only differences are in the reqular expressions settings. The code where the icons are included are exactly the same.

I would like to use the db script since the dates are being stored on a database.
