RSS feed links loading in scroller

Hi,
I`m running an RSS feed from a local newspaper in Tigra scroller but the links open up within the small iframe. I need them targeting to _blank.
Obviously I can't edit the links in the feed directly as they are sourced from the newspaper, but is there any way to fix this within the scroller script at my end?

Is there anything between RSS feed and scroller? How do you feed it to the script?

There's nothing in between the two.
