Installation problems

I know this topic has been addressed many times, but I am still having problems understanding how to correctly set the absolute path for the installation.

Here are the warnings/errors I am receiving:

Warning: main(cl_files/calendar.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/h/e/a/headknocker/html/phpcalendar/cl_files/index.php on line 25

Warning: main(cl_files/calendar.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/h/e/a/headknocker/html/phpcalendar/cl_files/index.php on line 25

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'cl_files/calendar.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/h/e/a/headknocker/html/phpcalendar/cl_files/index.php on line 25

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: read_data() in /home/content/h/e/a/headknocker/html/phpcalendar/cl_files/index.php on line 27

My problem is understanding where the home directory is coming from. Any help would be appreciated.

Found the problem. There are two global.php files. Once I updated the one in cl_files/data, I was able to access the login page.

Error Message I am receiving

Does anyone have a fix for this one. I use Go Daddy for our hosting, and I have created the individual directoriues myself ensuring that I gave full permissions for each , and I am still getting the same error message for my script files directory and data files directory:

"Can not create any files in cl_files/data directory. Please set 0777 permission on cl_files/data directory. Please check permission and try again. "

mrmeyer4cac,

I also use goDaddy and have been able to get the calendar to work. I used the install option that the calendar provides and then editted a couple of the php files. I did not encounter any permission problems with the install.
