Menu Stays "On Top" After Selecting Item

I have successfully implemented this menu on my site and I absolutely love it!

The only problem I'm experiencing is with the behavior of the menu once a user selects a link within any of the levels of sublevels.

What happens is that when a user makes a selection by clicking on a link within the menu, the content appears in the page, however, the menu remains "on top" and obscures the content.

What I would like to see is when a user makes a selection by clicking on a link within the men, the menu items disappear so that the new content is no longer obscured.

To clarify, I don't want the entire menu to disappear; just the sublevels that "dropped down" when the user hovered the pointer.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Normally clicking the link reloads the page and on the new page the menu appears collapsed. Do you use regular links in the menu?
