monthly events not showing in order

I have installed, modified and have my calendar working on my site with the events for that month listed below. The only problem I'm having now is that the events are not listed in order.

(click into July.. more events then!)
I've looked at the code but am fairly new to PHP. Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

To fix this issue please replace events.php file with it updated copy attached.
