TIGRA menu for frames? need help ....


hi everyone... love this Tigra menu .... it looks nice .. great shades of blue etc etc... but.... i am using frames in my site... now my tigra menu is placed in the top frame ... and whenever i click a link from the menu drop-down .. i want it to open in my Main frame in the center of the window.... but its not happening.. if i click on the menu link... it is opening in the top frame itslef where it is placed ... :( .. i cant figure out how to change the target frame on where to open the file in the code.... can please someone help me?... i am stuck and frustrated!!! :( thanx!!!

Tigra Menu 2.x supports 'tw' item scope key. With it you can specify the name of the frame you want links opened in.

THANX a BUNCH!!!!!!!.... one prob is solved of target frames!!!!!!!..... am feeling better now .. but unfortunately... one more issue has come up!!!!! :(

as i am using frames... the menu is placed on the lower part on the top frame.... and when the menu expands, it disappears behind the center frame..... i am very upset as i dont know what to do.....its expanding fine when i open the top frame seperately in a new window..... so it means it is going behind the center frame in the site.... the drop down menu is not coming onto the main frame .. and is not overlapping?.. is there anyway that can be done???.. i am very far into development for this stage and it will be shame to abandon it now.... i need the menu to expand from the top frame in full visibility over the center main frame!! .. please .. some kind of help will be extremely appreciated!! thanx a lot again!!!

There is no "native" way for the menu to do that. All elements of the page (including the menu) can only exist inside the browser window or frame. Tigra Menu GOLD addresses this problem by creating the menu in two (or more) frames and synchronizing them so they look and act as one menu. You can see this in action at:
