Cannot change current day color

I have been trying to change the current day color and it refuses to change. It is staying a bright red desoite the fact I've not changed it to that color. I've tried changing it to dark blue, green, gray, yellow, and everything in between. It did change to dark blue for a brief moment when I added a new event, then when I changed it again it went back to the bright red. Now I can't change it again.
This is in the registered version.
