Redirect to custom URL not working?

Trying to redirect an event listing to a specific page. For example, when I enter:
http://www.google.com

and click "update URL", the page refreshes and turns the URL into this:
httpwwwgooglecom

so that when you click on that certain event, the URL obviously gives an error page. Any advice?

Try downloading new version. I believe the developer updated some files to improve the security and then there were some side effects he later fixed.
