slider issue

I need to change/manipulate bunch of different elements in a form, based on the current slider value each time the slider is moved. I'd like to know how I can capture that event that the slider is moved to a new value and a new value is set into the text field related to it.

The value in the text field changes whenever the slider moves, but i'd like to know how I can know that the slider has moved to a new value so I can trigger a javascript function at that point which does all the stuff I need to on the form.

Any help is appreciated.
