Sample slider bar control

Hi,
I created a sample slider bar control using div tags and it is working fine with IE but if i use mozilla fire fox, it is not working properly.

My requirement is , that child div should move along with mouse.

Can any one help me.

It is not clear what your post has to do with the Status Bar Scroller (current forum). If it is related to Tigra Slider script it is not clear what you're trying to achieve with it.
