stuck in Edit Menu Items window

I am stuck in Edit Menu Items window. Only Intro mode and load are clickable. I was able to edit all menu items but cannot progress from here.

This happened before, too, but with different effects. I was stuck on Edit Menu, but the palettes to the left would not change when I selected menu items. They were frozen shut.
