Tigra tree in iframe -- how to load docs into parent document

I've placed the tree menu in an iframe (ie there is no frameset), but the values _parent, _top just return undefined. This is in IE6 (only browser I have to support):

['Home Page Element', 'updatecontent_inline.html', '_top'],

The only solution I can think of right now is to use javascript -- something like:

['Home Page Element', 'parent.document.URL="updatecontent_inline.html";'],
-- or -- ['Home Page Cat Element', 'parent.document.location.href="updatecontent_inline.html";'],

But it errors complaining it expects ';'.

My javascript is very rusty, and I'm not sure it can work in Tigra anyway.

Any suggestions on other solutions, or on making a javascript solution work?

Solved it

var tree_tpl = {
'target' : '_parent', // name of the frame links will be opened in
// other possible values are: _blank, _parent, _search, _self and _top

A bit embarrassing....

This error (';' expected)may come up because you added too much commas.. like

[myarrayentry,
mysecondarrayentry,
]

or you defined an array like

var myarray = [entry,
entry2,
entry3
]

where you would have to add a semicolon (';') at the end of this statement!

If you?re still unable to let it work proper, please leave a few example files zipped in this forum.
I?ll try to help you at the weekend.
