Spaceing Root Menu Items in Tigra Gold

How do I acheive equal spacing of root menu items (vis a vis other root menu items)when an extremely menu item such as "technical & iterature" destroys the overall spacing. Do I use the "sw" key and if so how do I avoid generating a blank submenu item under the root? I've read through the documentation and perused your samples with no luck.

Yes, you do that by using the 'sw' item scope key, it doesn't produce the the blank menu item. If you have this effect then you probably create syntax error by adding item scope settings to the end of the menu instead of inserting it in place of the placeholder in its position (null). Please see the demo configuration for the 'sw' key usage examples.
