Non-active menus

I have a(nother) problem when using menus with frames.

At first page view the menu works fine (except for shifting as described in other topic). The menu contains a 'Log on' menu item, and after logging on the menu is updated. The content of the menu is updated correcly, but all menu items are inactive (background color does not change, and menus don't drop down).

Any help is appreciated.

Do you reload the frameset when you update the menu?

Yes, I reload using window.parent.frames["xxx"].location.reload(true).

The frame is reloaded and the menu is shown correctly, but the menus are inactive as described.

Ok, you reload the frames, but do you reload the frameset?
Top level window is used for the synchronization and it holds some data for the menu. Changing the menu - reload the frameset.

But of course.

Not sure how to do that, but it shouldn't be the biggest obstacle.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Can you post the code when you find out how to
"reload the framset" because I think I'm having the same problem.

Of course. I have put the following on my page:

<script language="javascript">
window.top.location.reload();
</script>
