Frame overlapping with multipe files......

I am trying to get the gold menu to overlap but its not working.

<!-- /Header -->
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
var frameset = [
['Header'],
['Menu'],
['mainFrame']
]
new menu (MENU_ITEMS_ALLHW, MENU_POS_ALLHW, {'frames' : frameset});
//-->
</script>

is in the main html file and.........

<!-- /Body -->
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
new menu (MENU_ITEMS_ALLHW, MENU_POS_ALLHW);
//-->
</script>

at the bottom of the "slave" file just before </body>
I have also included the needed .js and .css files in the code.
Is there anything wrong with the code above?

you described three frames. I have a feeling that menu is in the frame called menu overlapping to frame called mainFrame. Since menu never gets to "Header" you can remove that from the frameset configuration. Also check if menu appears on the pages when you load the page without the frameset.

Object expected...

I'm getting an "Object Expected error" now from the menu HTML file when I try to display the page with the frames. The pages loads correctly and you can see the menu but it doesn't drop down. All the menus (both in main.html and menu.html) display correctly when they are by themselves but when they are in frames I get that above error. What object could it be expecting if they are all running fine individually but just not from inside the frames? I've followed the overlapping frames example word for word and I can't see what could be wrong, especially cause they work as individual HTML files....???
Any ideas?

Solved

After about a week of trial and error I managed to solve the
problem and it works now. The example given on the site was very helpful.
Thanks,
peebs
