Large amount of whitespace between scrolling elements

This product was a cinch to install & configure...all I had to do was compare the .js & .css files & in a matter of minutes I was ready to go! However, I can't figure out why, when the elements are scrolling within the box, there is such a large amount of white space. It will scroll a whole list of links & text, then when that scrolls out of the box, you get about 2 full seconds of emptiness before the next element begins to scroll. In other words, I can't get it to scroll the elements back-to-back like in the online demo; one after the other with no period of blank whitespace. I scoured the source & can't find anything that looks related to this problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

Only PRO version of the control allows to adjust the dispance between items, while in free version the gap size is fixed and equal the scroller box size.
