styles

Hi, Im a bit stuck adding styles to the menu.
Im trying to place the styles in tree_item.js. for example

['div class=style1>Menu</div>

This results in text being on the line below the + image.
My question is what is the correct method of forfmatting the text using a style.

Hi I just want t add that what I meant was that I do not want everythnig in the tree to be a link e.g. the folder names.
I want the folder names to be plain text and the links under the folder names are to be hyperlinks.

Is there a way of doing this?
