openItemByCaption with no case sensitive

i want to search the tree with a part of the caption name and not with the full caption name like the function "openItemByCaption" does.

You could easily create such function by yourself. Tree object contains a_index collection, which holds all tree items objects, you could walk through the collection and find item by any spesific criteria.
