how do i make the submenus horizontal?

hi

the submenu appears like this

and i need it to appear this way
http://pitagoras.usach.cl/~ggerena/horizontal.gif

how can i do it?

i already made something similar, playing with menu level (up to level 4!! of submenus)
but now i only need that
all the submenus show at the same time, not on mouseover on the last one.

the idea:

[menu 0]
[menu 1][menu 2][menu 3][menu 04]

I need that menu 1, 2, 3, 4 show when mouse over on menu 0.
Like if all of them were on the same level
