What ever happened to Menu Builder for GOLD?

I was told at least one year ago that a Menu Builder for GOLD was on it's way. I just found an forum posting saying the same thing, and it was posted in 2002....

Is this ever coming?

It sure would be nice for people who don't use Javascript all the time. All the brackets, commas, braces, etc in the items.js file can be tricky....

Should I hold my breath? Or not take that chance?

Thanks for any info.
