very slow loading in IE

Hello,

I use the Tigra menu free version and on older computers (PII and older) the menu loads very slow in IE. I have to stare at a blank screen for like 10 sec. before the page loads completely. With Mozilla/Firefox no speed problems. I have no pictures and my menu isn't big (like 30 links or so). Anyone has any ideas? Is there something in the script I can adjust or in IE?

Can you, please, check the performance of the menu in the same circumstances but with more powerful computer? Does our demonstration pages work the same way with your older computer?

I just tested my menu on another old computer (pIII 500, 128mb, win98, IE6.0) and there it loads perfectly! The computer I first tested my menu on is a pIII 450, 512mb, XP, IE6.0. Also your demonstration pages on this computer takes about 8 to 9 seconds to load...I'm puzzled...Is XP causing the problem?

Tested at home on another old computer (celeron 500, XP, IE6.0, 256mb) and it also worked fine...Strange that only a few computers at my work seem to have a speed problem in IE6.0 (all have the same image by the way)...Guess maybe a software problem with javascript...
