Problems with install

When I try to install the even calendar, I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::load_item() in c:webhtmlenontab.orgdev01calendarcl_filescalendar.php on line 109

Can someone please tell me how to correct this problem? This occurs when I try to bring up the index.php file. I correct the other messages I was getting due to my absolute path and now I am getting this message.

Any suggestions???

Same here.

I am using PHP 5, had to do the same thing and clean up some var to public issues and correct path to be absolute. Seems the installer was close but no cigar. Also, just for the heck of it, I dumped the app and re-installed it, then the path came through as absolute without my intervention. Wierd! Anyhow. Not sure how to fix the error...

Any suggestions out there?
