Horizontal Scrolling Limits?

Is there a limit of how much text can be scrolled when using the "content" variable instead of reading it from a file?

Besides the previously mentioned text limit, the scroller terminates and loops back before the contents have finished scrolling in Opera 7.54 so this scroller only works for short messages. Are these limitations only on the free version?
