Frames: I'm just not getting it

I've looked through the posts and I still don't understand why my menu is not working properly.

I have a frameset (top and bottom), the top frame is 1 px high - so basically it's invisible. The bottom frame is where the content loads.

Each content page has a call to the menu. (i.e. the menu isn't in a different frame as the content)

<div class="navigation">
<script language="JavaScript">
var frameset = [
['hidden'],
['content']
]
new menu (MENU_ITEMS, MENU_POS, {'frames' : frameset});
</script>
</div>

The menu displays, but the submenus will not drop down. What am I doing wrong?

Internally, on a Tomcat 4.1 server, I do not have this problem - I don't even need to declare the frameset and it still works fine. But externally (on the client's Tomcat 4.1 server) I'm having the problem.

Any suggestions, please?!

Edit: If I refresh the frameset, the menu works..I'm using version 2.5. Do I need to upgrade to 2.6? And how do I do that?

Thanks

Update

I put in a support ticket and they gave me the newest version.

But I'm still having a few problems with it..I'll keep this post updated as I get some answers.

I think it is disgusting that 9 months can go by and "support" can't be arsed to respond to this question.

What is the point of having a support ticket when the point of the forum is to share solutions.

I have bought the Gold product a week or so ago and have the same problem, menus refuse to drop down when in frames.

Support sucks, seems I have wasted my money. False and Pretences springs to mind.

It is quite surprising that people get upsed about our technical support without even giving it a chance. Please DO read the board rules and the topmost posting in this forum (the one in all caps).
