2nd event calendar

I took the files in my first event caledar folder, then copied and pasted them into a second event calendar folder.

I was thinking that i'd be able to use them as two separate calendars since they had different filenames. I went into the control panel of the first event calendar and changed the calendar names. Then when i went to view the second event calendar, it displayed the changes that i made to the first event calendar.

Does anyone know why it did this? Can i not create multiple event calendars using the first event calendar that i purchased as a template?
