Colour and size styles not working on PRO version (Update ver1)

Just bought the full developer suite, love it. Bit of a problem with the tree item scope settings for styles, though. For troubleshooting, I am using Demo6 that came with the package.

I find that changing the text size or colour in tree.css has no affect on the tree. I created a new style in tree.css, as follows:

.LinkOff2 {
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 9px;
color: #ff0000;
word-spacing: normal;
letter-spacing: normal;
line-height: normal;
font-weight: normal;
text-decoration: none;

I then referenced this new style, as so:

['Description', 0, {'s0' : 'LinkOff2', 's4' : 'LinkOff2', 's8' : 'LinkOff2', 's12' : 'LinkOff2', 's64' : 'LinkOff2', 's68' : 'LinkOff2', 's72' : 'LinkOff2', 's76' : 'LinkOff2'}],

These are the only changes made to index.html. I find that the only aspect of the style it picks up is the fact that it is bold.

Any ideas? I payed the bean for this just for the ability to change the styles on the fly, as the colour of the link depends on what is pulled from the database.

PS: Using Mozilla Firefox 1.0 on Windows XP

Update Ver 1:
Looks like it is not only ignoring styles set in the tree item scope, but also in the tree instance scope. Link colors are appearing in whatever is set for the page and not allowing the colors or text sizes set at the script level to override. Again, other formatting such as underline or background colour seems to work fine.
