Can't get events to display either. Shucks!

My calendar is:

www.bishopbyrne.org/calendartest.php

No event shows up when I click it.

Other dilemmas:
I have specified the type for "December" to be bold but it isn't. In other words, the "Ccur" and "Cheader" dont seem to be working (somewhat).

If I put the events on the same page it will throw everything to the right.

format the "size" of the calendar

You can "adjust the size" of the calendar by placing your code into a "table":

<table>
<tr>
<td style="border-width:1;border-style:solid;
border-color:black;color:white;">
<?
error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);
extract($HTTP_POST_VARS);
extract($HTTP_GET_VARS);
include '/calendar/cl_files/calendar.php';
new calendar('your calendar name');
$calendar->init('your calendar name');
?>
</td>
<td background="assets/back.jpg" valign="top">
<?
$calendar->show_event($CLd,$CLm,$CLy,'your calendar name');
?>
</td>
<tr>
</table>

Didn't work.

Especially on the show event string.

the show event string...

In the "Calendars Config" section:
Open event list at URL: events.php?CLd=%d&CLm=%m&CLy=%y

Open event list target: _self

The table resizing...
do not forget to add the size for the table

width="200"

Now the date doesn't want to show up on the events page, plus I've tried to change the format of the date from "18 Dec 2004" to "Dec 18, 2004".

Not only that, the date doesn't change over from Dec. to Jan. in the December month! Ugh! :)

Fixed it. It better not mess up again! :-)

Now. The $date string in the events listing doesn't work, and I've changed the format in calendar.php to reflect the change.

I am unsure how you fixed the "time zone" issue, but my suggestions would be to delete the calendar and recreate it.
BEFORE you delete, however, do the following:
Please write in line 172 calendar.php file (in function drop) the following:
global $db;

I got the date to work in the event listing. I'm not sure how. I believe I changed around the "d M, y" in the get_date or make_date function.

To change the $date:

in calendar.php:

show_event function ...

change 'd M,Y' in the following string to print out whatever format you want...

if you put 'F d, Y' your output will look like: December 25, 2004

$head = str_replace('$date', date ('d M, Y',mktime(0,0,0,$this->a_selected_date['m'],$this->a_selected_date['d'],$this->a_selected_date['y'])), $head);

I got that event listing figured out. Thanks a lot.

I agree with you on the time zone thing - its best to stay at the original zone.

Now I'm trying to figure out (still) how to get the months to work. They work in the demo months. When someone is in December 2004 and they click on January 1, 2005, it goes back to December 1, 2004.

You must have gotten the months thing fixed? I didn't have the problems you talked about.

No. I didn't. That's the only thing left to figure out.

The months are still acting up (on the month calendar). How did you get yours to work?

How'd you get the Classes to work in the config do you could change the "Ccur" and "Cheader" and have them work?

Where are these style settings stored? I've changed font color in the two files I saw these CSS classes in and neither do anything to the actual calendar font colors.
