In the free version, is it possible to change the menu orientation from horizontal to vertical? If so, how? Thanks!

yes, you can see that in menu demonstrations where instances the same script configured vertically and horizontally. RTFM about 'left' and
'top' in menu_tpl.js

Sorry, I'm a beginner. What does RTFM mean?

Basically this is some sort of invitation to read available documentation.

I've looked at the docs and looked in the TMB(Win32) help files. The program does not seem to allow the generation of a vertically oriented menu.
The ORIENTATION selection field is grayed out and defaulted to HORIZONTAL. That makes it pretty tough to preview a vertical menu.
You suggest that the files generated by TMB(Win32) need to be edited.
The Online Menu Builder allows a choice of vertical or horizontal orientation.
Also the OPTIONS link under the EDIT menu is grayed out.
Is this because TMB is a free D/L?

Yes, you can always change any settings (including orientation) manually by editing text based configs once you generated the menu. Documentation for
this is available.
Orientation feature in Win32 menu builder is not working because this tool is still under development. I'll notify the development team about
this issue.
