Top level item widths???

Hi - Im setting up a menu that requires the top level items to have different widths, and I'm having real trouble figuring it out how do do this.

I can only seem to set one width for each level of the menu and even if I set the top level to say 200, the items seem to overlap and it's only the last item that shows at that width.

any help would be very much appreciated.

I've attached the menu_tpl file I'm using in case it helps.

I am not sure what you mean but this is what I did.

My made this page (this is actually a duplicate page for a friend). I was testing out various menus for him.

On that page is actually 8 separate menus.

This allows me to give each there own width and their submenus can have a different width instead of all submenus being the same width.
