set time in two form fields

I have the script running in a web page and I need to have it update two form fields. I have two different forms on the page, one called form1 and one called form2. I need to set the date in the box just before the calendar image and also in a hidden input field in the second form. I need the page to pass the date no matter which submit button is pressed. I hope someone can help me with this. My javascript is very shaky. Thanks in advance.

The task can not be solved by changing application settings,
it requires code changes.
