IE problems
Hi, I have tested my menu manitobawildlands.org/LoriMenuNew/current_test2.htm on most Mac and PC browsers. my Internet Explorer 6.0 on the PC seems
to load the menu last and it takes quite a while for it to load.
Is this a problem with IE or with the browser's settings? Has anyone seen this problem before or has any ideas?
Thanks.

The page loads slowly even without menu in the Internet Explorer 6.0 on the PC. The menu appears the last because its call is at the bottom of the
page. Apparently the problem is in the page code. You should try to remove links to locally positioned images (starting from file:///). It is the
most likely that impossibility to load them brakes a browser.

Hi,
Thanks for your comments. I have taken out the references to images on the local machine, and moved the menu script to the top of the BODY section.
It still seems to load very slow in my IE (on PC winXP) browser. Same url. Any ideas?
Thanks again.

Ok, the coding change helped speed up the loading of the page.
The other main problem, I have discovered is that Norton Internet Security, when on highest security setting thouroghly scans each .js file before
loading the page, this was the hold up on the 1 system that I was having a problem with. Not much I can do about that.
Thanks for all the help, I really like this product!
