We have installed PHP Event Calendar on your server.
Try to change permissions for data/ directory and files in it. We can not change them by our FTP client.

Are they suppose to be 775 or 777? Where is the installation info on this? I get to the page at http://204.221.145.56/events/index.php but can't go any farther. It won't let me log in or anything.

You should set './events/cl_files/calendar.php' in the test.php file instead of '/events/cl_files/calendar.php'.
