Skip rows in a table

Is it possible to skip rows in a table? I have an alpha list with headers seperating the different letters (A, B, C, etc.) as well as a 'back to top' line. Any way to skip these so that they are not highlighted like the rest of the table?

You can do it only by dividing into several tables.
