Relative Positioning using Div -- looks different on IE

Check this out: http://pisaysg.byethost13.com/_private/trial/home.php

I'm using the free version of Tigra Menu and I took the tip from http://www.softcomplex.com/forum/viewthread_2788/

It looks alright in Mozilla Firefox 3 (blocked left of the allotted area) while it is distorted in Internet Explorer 8 (distorted to the right).

Is there an alternative to the code given in the other thread that will allow me to relatively position the free menu?

Thanks!
