Upgraded to gold, how 2 make builder work?

Just upgraded to gold from the free version, rcv'd zip file. Had the builder program from the free version installed and running on a Linux web server, what do I do to upgrade it?

Replace the builder's files with ones from the Tigra Menu GOLD package you downloaded. Then you can load the project you saved from free builder, switch the mode to Tigra Menu GOLD and re-export the project.

OK I did that, although the collection of files in the gold version is not the same as that in the free version and I have no idea what to do with the extra files ... which might explain why the new builder almost but not quite works, in that I can load the old file, but the PREVIEW button now doesn't seem to do anything?

Nor can I get the new menus to work in my application.

Following the documentation:

I placed the following files in the same directory as I had the old version stuff previously:

menu.js, menu.dom.js, menu.lay.js, menu.opr.js, items.js, template.js, menu.css and pixel.gif.

I've placed the following in the header section of the document:

<head>
<!-- some header data -->
<link rel="stylesheet" href="menu.css">
<script language="JavaScript" src="menu.js"></script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="items.js"></script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="template.js"></script>
</head>

But the old code generated menu_items.js and menu_tpl.js should I rename the ones from the old version or do I have to generate new ones? And how would I do that? The builder program is creating files with the 'old' names.

The old code had:

<script language="JavaScript">
myMenu = new menu (MENU_ITEMS, MENU_TPL);
</script>

The documentation states:

<script language="JavaScript">
myMenu = new menu (MENU_ITEMS, MENU_POS);
</script>

What's MENU_POS?

I changed TMenu_path_to_files ... to the absolute directory path on the web server where the files are located?

MENU_POS is the name of the variable. It can be MENU_POS, MENU_TPL or whatever you call it as long as it matches in the menu initialization (new menu (..) call) and in the file where it is defined (in case of Tigra Menu GOLD it's template.js). If fixing the template variable name doesn't help please contact us directly and we'll help you find out what else is can cause the problem.

Went thru entire installation process again, making sure this time to have winzip PRESERVE DIRECTORY STRUCTURE upon extract. Now builder works fine.
