Tree Menu and HTTP variables

I'm using the Tiger Menu with my PHP site. I have it set up in the tree menu where each link goes to a PHP page, but additional parameters are passed (page.php?variable=value). My server is configured to automatically append the PHPSESSID to hyperlinks.

In most hyperlinks (generated by PHP, JavaScript, and straight HTML), the PHPSESSID is appended to the end of the link with the & separator (as it should be, page.php?variable=value&PHPSESSID=number).

However, when in the tree, it appends the PHPSESSID with a second ? (page.php?variable=value?PHPSESSID=number), causing the new page to not get the PHPSESSID properly.

Does anyone have any suggestions, since it seems to be related to the Tree Menu?

(PS - The Tree Menu is terrific, otherwise)

Tree controll generates usual anchor tag and we haven't faced with such problem before.

This might be because Javascript is C based and the Ampersand needs to be escaped with a .

I have had a similar problem with directory paths
