Hi

I have installed the Calendar and got it working with no problems but I can't work out how to get an event listing. When I follow the instructions I get php errors. So I'll ask the questions in order!

1. include 'path_to_calendar_dir_files/calendar.php'; When I paste this code into my html file I duly change the path details but there is no file called calendar.php and when I try to create a new file it doesn't create one!

2. I want to list all events by date order. What code do I use to arrange this?

Thanks

Rich

Craig, seen your post. I'm not an expert at this as I've just begun testing this program myself.

Did your install work successfully? The calendar.php, I think gets created during the automatic install process, and will end up in the calendar/cl_files/ directory. It should at any route if all went well.

You should check your paths, but if you don't have the calendar.php I suspect the install didn't go well, and likely you need to try again, this time using absolute paths like /home/craig/public_html/calendar/cl_files

Also, before install, create the data folder inside cl_files if it's not there, make you you can write to it. Permissions sounds like a problem here.

As for showing a whole year in the event list, I don't think this program does that out of the box. I seen a mod to show a month, so it can be done, but you'll need to do it yourself I think. There's a post for displaying a month you could check out, it might help you.
