One of the columns in my table is a date column, but that date field is allowed to be null.
I've got my column type set to "date," since I need to be allow the user to sort by this field (with the assumption that a null date would be at the top of an ascending list).
However, set up this way, the records that do not have a date set yet will not load into the table, giving me the following message:
"Input date does not meet input date format."
I realize that I could switch this to a STR type to get my records with null dates to load fine, but then I lose the functionality of the "date" type, which we really don't want to do.
Are there any good solutions for this?
attached is dt_parser.js that handles nulls in the data set.
I have seen that you have uploaded a new dt_parser file, i have tested it, and i notice that you are changin the null for the date of the day, and not
for an empty cell space that it is what i need.
How can we put an empty cell in a date column, because we cannot loose the date functionality, but we cannot give a wrong information like the day of today.
Thanks in advance
