Can the calendar handle special name values?

Postby playerofsteeldrums » Tue Aug 28, 2012 9:26 am

Hi,

I am using Tigra Calendar v4.0.4 with PHP and I have several elements with element names like "name=dates[]", can the calendar handle those name values?

here's a code snippet:

new tcal ({
'formname': 'expenses',
'controlname': 'dates[]'
});

<input type='text' name='dates[]' >

thanks,
Steve

I tested that with both v4.0 and 5.x and both handled the situation without any problems.

I should have mentioned that there are multiple input boxes, eg.:

<input type='text' name='dates[]'>
<input type='text' name='dates[]'>
<input type='text' name='dates[]'>
<input type='text' name='dates[]'>

thanks,

Tigra Calendar v4.0 uses name attribute of the control to attach calendar to to it so that version may not be able to handle the name conflict.
Version v5.x should be fine with it because it uses class attribute instead.
